MA Gathering of Letterboxers

From: khatru24 (khatru24@yahoo.com) | Date: 2002-01-29 14:58:10 UTC
Since people from all compass points have expressed interest in this
gathering, it looks like central MA is the best place to meet. I've
received emails from people in RI, CT and NH as well as Western MA and
MA seacoast.

I'd like to propose a Saturday night dinner at Barbers Crossing in
Sterling MA, which is at the intersection of Rts 12 and I-190, two
minutes from Rt 2, and ten minutes from Rt 495 or the Pike. They have
a wide selection of foods, and reasonable prices. I would like to
propose February 16th as the date, with Feb 23 as the "snow date" in
case of inclement weather.

Please RSVP to me directly at Khatru24@yahoo.com by Feb 14th and I
will call the restaurant for the final reservation. I would like make
a preliminary reservation this week if I receive enough responses to
make this event a "go", so please reply early if possible.

If this date is not good for you, I'm sure there will be other
gatherings soon, as other local boxers have expressed interest in
hosting one.

Finally, shall we have a theme for the gathering, and if so, would
someone like to carve an event stamp?

K
ps. I did finally receive my patches. Thank you mohmers!

The gathering in MA sounds fine and the 16th and 23rd good as well. Connecting faces with stamps is always fun.

On another note, has anyone had trouble getting onto the home page. Myself and 5 freinds, fello boxers cannot seem to get online with the home page to get clues. Think there's something wrong? What's up?

Would be interested in the meeting Saturday at Barbers Crossing. We

e-mail for time. Thanks Barry
